Register with GLLaB
How to register
Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB) is a local labour initiative which works in partnership with employers and a range of organisations to maximise job opportunities for local people and secure business opportunities for local companies.
GLLaB also enables local people, particularly those from disadvantaged communities, to access training and jobs.
The scheme helps people back into work, by providing information, one to one advice and guidance to unemployed Greenwich residents and residents under threat of redundancy on local job opportunities.
We also provide training and work experience schemes to help individuals gain the necessary qualifications and skills to get work.
You must be 16 or older to register with GLLaB. There is no upper age limit.
The GLLaB registration process
You can obtain a GLLaB registration form at either of our offices at the Old Library in Woolwich or the Work and Learn Centre near North Greenwich tube station and The O2, or from the GLLaB Bus, which visits sites around the borough. You can find more details of our address and the Work and Learn Bus timetable using the links on the right.
If you are a Greenwich resident who is either unemployed or working less than 16 hours per week or who is under threat of being made redundant, you will need to supply ID and three current proofs of address with your registration form.
If you are working more than 16 hours per week or live outside Greenwich borough our staff are available to offer information and advice. However, due to funding constraints, you may not be eligible to access all our service provision.
Does GLLaB help disadvantaged groups?
GLLaB funding provides support to those individuals furthest from the labour market. We manage a range of training and work placement opportunities to help support people from disadvantaged groups into employment.
Eligibility criteria apply to our funded programmes and projects - visit a GLLaB office to speak to an advisor about the projects currently available that you could join.
