Youth Voice in Greenwich

The Royal Borough of Greenwich has two youth voice groups, which allow local young people to have their say on issues that matter to them:

Greenwich Young People's Council and Greenwich Children in Care Council have the power to influence decisions and have an impact on local policies and services. They provide formal representation of young people's views, allowing them to take part in decision-making and the development and improvement of services for children and young people in Greenwich.

We support GYPC representatives to take part in the UK Youth Parliament and national Youth Voice work of the British Youth Council. We also offer training courses, and run and support youth events in the borough.

Greenwich's youth participation service is managed and delivered by the Participation People. Get in touch with them for more information.
