Options for care outside your home

There are a number of day centres in Royal Greenwich. Each one offers different facilities and activities.

Who can attend a day centre?

To attend a day care centre you must meet our eligibility criteria. You may need to have a care assessment so that we can find out if you meet these criteria.

Transport

You should be able to attend a centre near to you and sometimes you may receive help with transport. You can also get a travel permit, known as a Freedom Pass, for free travel throughout London if you are retired or disabled.

Travel grants for sick and disabled people are also available.
