Encouraging people into sport
The Sports Promotion Unit delivers a comprehensive programme of sports activities through a range of projects, including:
- annual events programmes
- Active Sports development programmes
- community projects.
We work in partnership with sports governing bodies, local clubs, schools, Greenwich Leisure Limited, public, private and voluntary sectors, to help encourage interest in and access to sporting activities throughout the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
We also provide sports funding for club development purposes, through our Club Development Support Fund.
