What is regeneration?
Creating a better borough
Royal Greenwich is currently undergoing a major transformation with one of the largest regeneration agendas in the UK.
Regeneration involves developing, or redeveloping, every aspect of our built environment, from housing, public spaces and transport networks, to business and jobs, as well as shopping and entertainment facilities.
The shared vision for Royal Greenwich is that by 2015 local communities will have access to training, jobs, decent housing, quality services, parks and open spaces, vibrant town centres, a range of leisure opportunities and increased prosperity.
Who is realising the vision?
The regeneration of the borough is driven by the The Royal Borough of Greenwich and its partners, and based on the vision and priorities set out in the Greenwich Strategy.
