Civil and religious marriage ceremonies
Renewal of marriage vows
A renewal of marriage vows ceremony is a way for married couples to celebrate a special anniversary or to renew their commitment to each other following times of difficulty.
If you were married abroad, then it is a way to involve family and friends who were unable to attend.
The content of the ceremony is tailored to your exact requirements. You can include non-religious readings in the ceremony, but no religious words, music or readings can be included.
Commemorative certificate
You can re-dedicate your wedding rings, or mark the occasion with new rings. A commemorative certificate is presented at the conclusion of the ceremony.
If you wish to book a ceremony, please contact the register office to enquire about availability and fees. Please note that the document issued during this ceremony has no legal status.
