Get married in the Royal Borough of Greenwich
There are two types of marriage ceremonies: civil marriages and religious marriages. Civil marriages can take place at a number of venues licensed to hold civil marriage ceremonies. Religious marriages can take place in any religious building that's registered for marriage.
Before booking your date, make sure you have enough time to give notice of your intention to marry if required. It takes a minimum of 28 days to give notice - if you're subject to immigration control, you need to allow up to 70 days.
If you want to get married abroad, read the guidance on getting married abroad (Gov.UK).
If you're already married and want to get remarried, you should contact the registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org

Arrange a religious wedding (non-Church of England)
