Housing Improvement Programme

Improving homes

The Housing Investment Programme (HIP) involves a two-year works programme from April 2011 to March 2013.

The programme may include:

  • Replacing windows and roofs that are beyond viable economic repair
  • renewing ageing wiring, boilers and central heading systems
  • installation of entry phone systems which have been identified by councillors or residents' representatives
  • a programme of external re-decoration.

Planned works

We have set up an enquiry system for you to find out if any HIP works are planned for your home.

Note: You will need to enter the first line of your address and your postcode.

Final stages of Decent Homes

There is a small amount of Decent Homes work that is due to complete in 2011. These works are separate from the HIP and will be identified clearly to avoid confusion.
