The Metro Centre in Greenwich offers a comprehensive service geared towards gay, lesbian and bisexual people and those who are questioning their sexuality.

The centre's offices in central Greenwich include:

  • a medical centre
  • private counselling rooms
  • group counselling area
  • meeting and activity room.

Transgender and transsexual

The Metro Centre offers support on issues relating to gender as well as sexuality.

Social groups

The Metro Centre offers a place where you can go and meet other gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans people to socialise and get help and advice if you need it. Services are available to people of all ages.

Youth groups

Metro Youth runs a wide range of different groups across south east London. They offer fun activities like video afternoons, creative sessions, trips and travel, workshops and discussions.

You can listen to music, make new friends, talk about stuff you're going through and get advice and information on a range of issues.

Counselling

The Metro Centre offers a range of counselling services for lesbian, gay and bisexual people, and those questioning their sexuality.

The services provide practical advice and give you an opportunity to explore, discover and clarify ways of living more resourcefully and with greater satisfaction.

Volunteers

If you have some regular spare time and would like to offer your skills, the Metro Centre has volunteering opportunities for you.

A full induction and training will be provided.
