Becoming a childminder

If you are interested in becoming a registered childminder you must attend a briefing organised by the Families Information Service. Contact us to book a place on the briefing session.

The National Childminding Association (NCMA) gives advice to parents and childminders.

Vacancies

To get a list of registered childminder vacancies, contact the Families Information Service. They can also offer additional information about childminding and put you in touch with other colleagues.

You can also look for advertisements in shops and local papers.
