Family Open Day at Crossness Engines Trust

Visit the site and see the machinery of the former sewage treatment works.

The machinery includes four massive Rotative Beam engines, two of which are currently being restored. You'll also be able to take a look at the listed buildings, which were constructed to the highest quality, wander through the exhibition which was installed in 2016, visit the museum shop and take a break in the cafe. There will also be family craft activities. In addition, the Royal Arsenal Narrow Gauge Railway will be open to visitors too.

Painted Hall Ceiling Tours at Old Royal Naval College

View the baroque masterpiece up close on a special observation deck.

During a major conservation project, visitors will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the drama of this vast masterpiece up close.

School groups at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 can experience the Painted Hall ceiling on a free workshop.

Children go free when accompanied by an adult, from 24 July to 1 September 2017.

Summer Jazz Weekender at Peninsular Gardens
