Big Bike Ride along the River Thames

Cost: Adults £10, children (aged five to 15) £5, family (two adults and two children) £25

Join the largest sponsored bike ride in south east London.

The Big Bike Ride offers cyclists, of all abilities, the chance to cycle the length of the River Thames from Greenwich through to Erith. Most of the route follows the Thames Cycle Path, and you can choose your start point and how far you want to cycle.

The Big Bike Ride is ideal for families, as well as experienced and novice cyclists, wanting to enjoy a leisurely day's cycling and the riverside views as they go.

Mozart Requiem Mass in D Minor at St Alfege Church

Performance by the Thomas Tallis Society.

Instead of the usual accompaniment of strings, wind and brass, this performance by the Thomas Tallis Society will be accompanied by a wind band using the instruments available to Mozart when he began composing the work in 1790. The first half of the programme will focus on music for remembrance.

Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB) staff will be on board to help, with additional support available from trained Work Ambassadors (a service provided by Volunteer Centre Greenwich).
